MUSICAL THEATRE
VOICE TRAINING:

Optimize your expression.

Do you:

  • enjoy voice lessons but feel disconnected outside of the studio?

  • strangely feel that you must first learn to sing classically in order to sing contemporary repertoire?

  • feel like you're only ever putting Band-Aid fixes on your singing rather than exploring your whole voice?

  • get confused about the seven different "correct" ways of breathing that you've been told?

  • have no clue what lip trills have to do with singing "Let It Go"?

I can help. Singing is a beautifully complex activity.  And it can also be broken down into manageable, trainable components to make it frustratingly easy.

“Curtis made me feel so comfortable and listened to while I was working with him. He is so very focused, kind, passionate and attentive in any environment. There is a calm to his spirit that not many leaders possess."

HANNAH CORNEAU

Actor

“Curtis is a fantastic pianist and coach, who supports the singer with his playing. His incredible musicianship, knowledge of repertoire, and a firm grasp on musical styles make him an asset to any performer.”

KEVIN MICHAEL MURPHY

Voice Teacher

“Curtis has a special way of empowering his students. It felt like we had all the time in the world, like it was another day where two friends could laugh and sing, while being immensely productive without stress.”

...But what is a
STUDIO MEMBERSHIP?

The standard for singing training has long been the 1:1 private lesson model: Singers working in private on their private skills with their private voice teacher. But dancers and actors train in groups. Why not singers?

Acquiring new skills is so much better when rooted in COMMUNITY!

As it turns out, there are a lot of common goals and scenarios that bring people to private lessons in the first place.

Instead of only pursuing these goals alone, what if there was a cost-effective way to have built-in camaraderie to support your individual progress as well as a host of other singing services to jumpstart your growth?

Enter: THE STUDIO MEMBERSHIP

The Studio Membership is a monthly or annual subscription that includes not only individual lessons, but also skills-based cohorts, asynchronous feedback, and other features to optimize your vocal goals. Picture it like a traditional gym membership with classes and training included instead of paying out-of-pocket each time.

All members choose a Skill Pod, which are dedicated training sessions for a group of singers with similar goals. Skill Pods have limited capacity to ensure maximum attention for each student. Think of it like a mini semester focusing on one shared goal.

Check out all that's included...

  • Access to all foundational core content

  • Community support with a private online group

  • Choice of Skill Pod cohort to join

  • Targeted individual lessons

  • Studio class with other studio members

  • Asynchronous feedback between lessons

  • Strategic repertoire planning session
